CUSTOMER: NANOPHASE
LOCATION: BUR RIDGE,ILThe building manager of the Nanophase warehouse building in Bur Ridge,IL wanted replace the dock apron. Uneven and cracked concrete made it hard for the warehouse workers to load and unload flatbed trucks. ECS saw cut the broken apron, removed the old concrete, installed new gravel, rebars and poured 6” of ready mix concrete. Because of Nanophase’s busy schedule the work was performed on Saturday. The repaired ramp will be available for use next week.
CUSTOMER: CONVERGE WORLDWIDE
LOCATION: ARLINGTON HEIGHTS, ILThe manager of Converge Worldwide Company decided to replace the old air conditioning units outside of the office building. When the units were removed, sunken and cracked concrete showed up. On a hot summer day Converge Word Wide contacted ECS asking for a fast and reliable service. ECS on the same day removedthe old concrete and prepared forms for new concrete slabs. The next day ECS poured 8”of new ready mix-concrete. The weather was cooperative and the process of finishing and curing of the concrete went smooth. Brand new AC-units were placed on Monday.
CUSTOMER: PHEASANT CREEK
LOCATION: NORTHBROOK, ILPheasant Creek Residential Complex in Northbrook, IL was experiencing a significant deterioration of exterior concrete patios, the main entrance stoop and retain walls.ECS was contracted to handle the project. A plan was proposed during a meeting with the condo associates and board members and the proposal was accepted. ECS replaced the old sunken patios and installeda new ready-mix concrete.For the main entrance stoop and retain walls ECS used a high performance engineered Portland cement base.The product worked perfectly for this job and saved over 60% compared to the cost of replacement.
CUSTOMER: MINER CONDOMINIUM COMPLEX
LOCATION: ARLINGTONHEIGHTS, ILLocated in downtown Arlington Heights Miner Condominiums Complex had a problem with front entrance concrete steps and walkways. Nineteenof the front steps were crumbling, cracking and were showing significant signs of deterioration. Pabcornmanagement, servicing this complex contacted ECS foran estimate. There were a couple of issues that made this job difficult. One of the challenges was the fact that the residents living in the complex have only one exit and entrance which they use to get in and out of the building. The other challenge was the white paint on the concrete porches which was hard to remove. After one day of power washing and removing the paint,finally the concrete was made ready for repairs.Fast curing engineered cement was the best option for the repairs. A final coat of greysealer gave all the concrete a new and fresh look.

LOCATION: CHICAGO, IL
Newly remodeled 8 unit apartment building in Backtown was experiencing many concrete problems in the back parking lot. Cracking, spalling concrete, rust, stunning and complete deterioration in many areas there were bigger issue.ECS cut out all non repairable concrete, installed a new rebar and poured new ready mix concrete. All repairable surfaces were power washed, chipped out, and prepared to be repaired and recapped. When the ready mix concrete dried out and all repairable concrete was brought to level, ECS resurfaced and sealed all concrete to create a uniform appearance and protect the new investment. And the best part of this job, the investor saved 50% compared to the cost of removing all concrete.
CUSTOMER: STONEGATE MANOR TOWNHOME CONDO ASSOCIATES.
LOCATION: MOUNT PROSPECT,IL
Residents of “Stonegate Manor Complex” were tired of the chipping and cracking concrete in their driveways, aprons and front stoops. The President of Townhouse associates contacted ECS regarding a repair & restoration for “Stonegate Manor Complex”. ECS secured all planters and power washed all concrete. Some driveways were experiencing problems with stains. ECS used special concrete acid to remove all stains. After power washing ECS removed all loose and broken parts of concrete. After leveling, ECS installed high performance concrete dressing to achieve pure grey color. When final coat of dressing dried out, ECS sealed all resurfaced concrete. The President of Stonegate Manor complex was very pleased with the finished product, the speed of the project and overall cost of saving.
