The building manager of the Nanophase warehouse building in Bur Ridge,IL wanted replace the dock apron. Uneven and cracked concrete made it hard for the warehouse workers to load and unload flatbed trucks. ECS saw cut the broken apron, removed the old concrete, installed new gravel, rebars and poured 6” of ready mix concrete. Because of Nanophase’s busy schedule the work was performed on Saturday. The repaired ramp will be available for use next week.
The manager of Converge Worldwide Company decided to replace the old air conditioning units outside of the office building. When the units were removed, sunken and cracked concrete showed up. Pheasant Creek Residential Complex in Northbrook, IL was experiencing a significant deterioration of exterior concrete patios, the main entrance stoop and retain walls.ECS was contracted to handle the project. Located in downtown Arlington Heights Miner Condominiums Complex had a problem with front entrance concrete steps and walkways. Nineteenof the front steps were crumbling, cracking and were showing significant signs of deterioration. Pabcornmanagement, servicing this complex contacted ECS foran estimate. There were a couple of issues that made this job difficult. One of the challenges was the fact that the residents living in the complex have only one exit and entrance which they use to get in and out of the building. The other challenge was the white paint on the concrete porches which was hard to remove. After one day of power washing and removing the paint,finally the concrete was made ready for repairs.Fast curing engineered cement was the best option for the repairs. A final coat of greysealer gave all the concrete a new and fresh look.

The President of Townhouse associates contacted ECS regarding a repair & restoration for “Stonegate Manor Complex”. ECS secured all planters and power washed all concrete. Some driveways were experiencing problems with stains. ECS used special concrete acid to remove all stains. After power washing ECS removed all loose and broken parts of concrete. After leveling, ECS installed high performance concrete dressing to achieve pure grey color. When final coat of dressing dried out, ECS sealed all resurfaced concrete.
